How to Edit Header Message

Overview



This guide provides step-by-step instructions to customize the header message on your branded tracking page. Customizing the header message helps personalize the customer experience and convey important information.

Steps to edit header



Log in to your AfterShip Tracking account.
Navigate to Tracking pages.
Under Your tracking pages, select the tracking page where you want to edit the header.
Select Edit from the dropdown menu.


Edit content



In Sections, select Header message to modify the header elements.
The header message will be highlighted, and the header message settings panel will appear on the right side of the page.
Go to Settings > Content.
Under Description, update the header message in the text field provided.
Customize the font and size of the description using the features provided in the text bar.


Edit header style



Go to Style and customize:
Background: Select the background color from the color palette.
Font: Select the font from the dropdown menu.
Text color: Choose the color for text from the color palette.
Alignment: Choose the alignment from the three alignment options given.


Click Save to apply all changes.

Personalized Welcome Messages: Use the header message to greet customers with personalized messages.
Promotional Announcements: Add limited-time offers or discounts to encourage further purchases.

Troubleshooting



If the header message is not updated, refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, contact AfterShip Support for further assistance.

Q1. What should I do if the font I want is not listed in the dropdown menu?



If the font you want is not available, go to the dropdown menu, select Custom fonts, and click Add font. A pop-up will appear asking for the font name and font URL. Use the URL of a publicly hosted or self-hosted font to add it to your font library. Font files must be in woff, woff2, otf, or ttf formats. Refer to the article to learn more.
Please read the font's license agreement and ensure you have permission to use it before uploading.

Q2. Can I remove the header message if I no longer need it?



Yes, you can remove the header message by clicking on the Delete section.

Q3. What is the character limit for the header message description?



The maximum character limit for the header message description is 5000 characters.
