AfterShip Monthly Service Plans: Upgrade Guidelines

Overview

These upgrade guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to all AfterShip’s Service Plans which are on a monthly basis with specified quotas (“Plans”). These Guidelines describe, namely but not exclusively, the pricing and upgrade rules of the following AfterShip’s monthly Service Plans (these examples are for illustrative purposes only and subject to change in accordance with the Documentation):

All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning attributed to them in the Terms of Use.

All AfterShip monthly Service Plans (“Plans”) are valid for 30 days and start immediately when You subscribe. The Plans renew automatically. For each Plan, AfterShip provides a quota, which is the total number of e.g. shipments, returns, labels, emails, and SMS (as applicable) included in the applicable Plan (“Quota”), and which is valid for 30 days (“Quota Period”). You may (i) upgrade Your Quota and/or (ii) upgrade the Service from e.g. Pro to Premium at any time during Your subscription (“Upgrade”). Any Upgrade shall take effect immediately and shall be valid until the end of the then-current Quota Period. Any unused Quota at the end of the Quota Period shall be forfeited.

1. Pricing

Pricing: When You purchase an Upgrade (Service plan), You will only pay the difference between Your current Plan and the new Plan (including any discount provided in the applicable new plan). Please note that You may be eligible for a discount when You upgrade from a Pro to a Premium plan.

No overage fees: By purchasing an Upgrade during the Quota Period which includes enough quota to cover Your actual use, AfterShip will not charge any overage fees. If You exceed your Quota without purchasing an Upgrade, AfterShip will charge overage fees.

2. Examples (for illustrative purposes only)

Example 1: You upgrade once during the Quota Period

2023-Jan-01: You purchase a Tracking 10k Pro Service Plan for 519.00 USD. You will pay 519.00 USD
2023-Jan-15: You purchase an Upgrade to Tracking 15k Pro Service Plan. You will pay 200.00 USD (719.00 – 519.00 USD)
In total: You will pay 719.00 USD in total and have 15,000 Quota until 2023-Jan-30.

Example 2: You upgrade twice during the same Quota Period

2023-Jan-01: You purchase a Tracking 10k Pro Service Plan. You will pay 519.00 USD
2023-Jan-15: You purchased an Upgrade and updated to Tracking 15k Pro Service Plan. You will pay 200.00 USD (719.00 – 519.00 USD)
2023-Jan-21: You purchase an Upgrade to Tracking 20k Pro Service Plan. You will pay 240.00 USD (959.00 - 719.00 USD).
In total: You will pay 959.00 USD and have 20,000 Quota until 2023-Jan-30.

Example 3: You upgrade the Service from Pro to Premium: 10% discount

2023-Jan-01: You purchase a Tracking 10k Pro Service Plan. You will pay 519.00 USD
2023-Jan-15: You purchase an Upgrade to Tracking 20k Premium. You will pay 1,208.10 USD (1919.00*90% - 519.00 USD).
In total: You will pay 1,727.10 USD and have 20,000 Quota until 2023-Jan-30.
